Plays near perfect , Possible very minor marks .
Cover: Only the slightest signs of normal wear.

Almost M- but not quite.
VG+ / Very Good Plus
Vinyl: May have marks and signs of some wear but will still
play throughout, with only "Slight" crackles or pops. May have slight noise
at the
beginning.
Cover: Will show signs of normal wear.
VG Very Good
Many of the defects found in a VG+ record
will be more pronounced in a VG disc. Surface noise / clicks / pop's etc may
be more evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during a
song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Cover:
Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams.
VG-
VERY GOOD MINUS
Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc / label
ware... But not so loud as to make the music completely
unlistenable
or unenjoyable to the
Casual listener.

Heavily
marked, scratched etc, but will play through.. Cover: Very heavy wear, But
still a Cover!

Sleeve graded first then media, e.g. vg / vg+ very good sleeve and very good
plus media (vinyl). Where there is no grade would mean cover only or record
only. 45'S with graded sleeve are all Picture sleeves
